Coaching and therapy are very different. Therapy typically focuses on healing from the past: processing trauma, mental health, and emotional wounds. Coaching is forward-focused. Your coach won't diagnose anything or dig into your history. Instead, they'll help you get clear on where you want to go, what's getting in the way, and what your next step looks like. Think of it as a thinking partner who asks the right questions and helps you find answers you already have inside you. The main difference is that therapy is focused on your past and healing and Coaching is focused on your future and is action-focused.
Absolutely not. Your Spark Session is exactly what it sounds like. It is a real, focused coaching conversation. No one will try to sell you a program, a package, or anything else. Our coaches are here because they love coaching and want to give back and help people understand what coaching is. We want you to learn a tool that can help your achieve your next goal.
Each Spark Session is minutes max. Short enough to fit into a busy day, but long enough to walk away with real clarity and a concrete next step.
Honestly? Almost anything you're working through. Some people come in with a big career decision. Others want to talk through a goal they can't seem to start. Some just have a general "something feels off" feeling they want to explore. Common topics include career transitions, business challenges, confidence, work-life balance, relationships, health goals, and personal growth. If it matters to you, it's worth talking about.
Nope. Sessions are held virtually and your coach will send you the link to connect. Most coaches use Zoom or Google Meet — both work right in your browser, no download required. All you need is a device, a decent internet connection, and a quiet spot where you can talk freely.
Because we genuinely believe coaching changes lives and too many people have never had the chance to experience it. Spark Sessions exist to change that. We want to give you a real taste of what coaching can do, with zero barrier to entry. We do the work. You get the credit.
You'll be matched with a coach based on your needs and the type of coaching you're looking for. If you see a coach that catches your attention in the profiles or you know someone who is offering services, let us know you want them and we will try our best to match you. Our goal is to make sure you're paired with someone who's a great fit for what you're bringing to the table.
We have 50+ certified coaches across a wide range of specialties — business, executive, career, life, health and wellness, relationship, confidence, leadership, and more. When you register, you'll share a little about what you're hoping to focus on, and we'll match you with a coach whose expertise aligns with your needs.
When you register, you'll answer a few quick questions about what you'd like to focus on and what type of coaching interests you. We use that information to match you with the coach who's best suited to support you. You'll receive your coach's information before the event so you know exactly who you'll be working with.
If your session sparks something and you want to keep the momentum going, that's wonderful — and totally possible. After the event, you're free to reach out to your coach directly to explore what continued coaching could look like. There's no obligation, but the door is open if you want to walk through it.
